About

Background

Picture
I grew up in Sydney and have always been captivated by nature. I spent a large part of my younger years exploring mountains, rivers, and coasts with my family. This passion drove me to study ecology, and volunteer in conservation projects so I could refine my interests before heading into the industry.

After university, I took on a role in ecological consulting, conducting flora and fauna assessments and ecological monitoring programs targeting threatened frogs, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and other species associated with woodland and wetland habitat.
Experiences in research, consulting, and regulation have sparked my interest in combining fundamental biology with applied ecology and adaptive management.
